Knowsley Safari 30s TV Commercial.
Post-Production Lead
Knowsley Safari Park is a well known tourist attraction in the north west of England welcoming visitors for over 50 years.
They were looking to air a 30s TVC focussed on real family experiences to promote their venue in time for the Summer holidays. Unfortunately, a severely condensed timeline meant we didn’t have any UG footage. So we had to make it!
The Concept
Fuelled by UGC this is all about immersive, authentic real wild experiences.
TV advert
The Result
A fun, family focussed commercial with UGC and social media styling highlighting real experiences.
Post-Production
The production was focussed on UGC style content, so in post we set about creating the look and feel of content shared on social media
Handheld footage tends to be shakey and rarely still so we added subtle movement
Motion Graphics Facebook posts were isolated and animated into shots with animated emojis simulating Facebook likes
Motion Graphics text was added throughout to resemble the animated text captions on Instagram stories alongside Instagram Reels graphic overlays
Music bed was selected for its upbeat, playful and poppy vibe giving a suitable tempo to the edit.
The Outcome
The initial UGC plan from the client wasn’t feasible with the TVC scheduling, so mixing our footage with authentic social post reviews, social style icons and a bright graphic language gives a similar sentiment as watching user generated content but gave us chance to meet the clients needs and the flexibility to highlight key areas of the park. The end result creates a suitably realistic portrayal of happy families sharing their wild experiences of the park and inspiring the audience to want to do the same.
